Kelly Tilghman is a retired American professional golfer and currently works as a television broadcaster for the Golf Channel. She was born on August 6, 1969, in North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
Tilghman began her golf career at a young age and went on to play collegiate golf at Duke University. After graduating, she turned professional and competed in various professional golf tours before transitioning into broadcasting.
In 2007, Tilghman made headlines for a controversial on-air remark during a broadcast where she suggested that the young players on the PGA Tour should "lynch Tiger Woods in a back alley." She later issued a public apology for the comment.
